I left you today with a bit of hope.  The thought of getting some sleep is comforting.  I did a yoga class and got a massage…and you are a big part of why I could do that today.  Anyway, the point of this email is to tell you this:  Of all the people involved in this, my lawyers CFI, therapist…. YOU are the only person who has ever told me, “You’re doing a good job,” and for that, I THANK YOU.  A little encouragement goes a long way.  Farther than any drugs.

My first visit here, I was in hell. 

I actually felt there would be no tomorrow.  After seeing Jane, experiencing her complete attention to my issues and the astute summation of how I can help myself in tandem with help from the services provided here I have risen each day to a new altitude, out of hope, out of positive feeling for my future.

This place truly offers help and hope to those of us who have mental illness of any type.

Hope your having a good day!  I just got home from therapy and I wanted to let you know how much of a difference I have noticed in that aspect of my life.  I don’t feel so mentally exhausted or stressed/distracted, allowing me to have more control over my emotions.  A new door has been opened for me (so to speak) to start focusing on myself more frequently and my healing.  I don’t worry so much about other externalities anymore.  By being able to focus on “me” I have also noticed that I am able to articulate and identify my thoughts/feelings a lot better which is extremely helpful.  It really is like my whole mind is a lot clearer, like a haze has been lifted.  It’s just such an improvement in overall life.  Anyways…just thought I’d fill you in.  Hope all is going well and thank you so much for all your help!
